With Cr2O3 as main composition, the chromite sand has stable volume under high temperature and high thermal conductance. When contacting with the molten metals, it can resist the basic slag effectively and have no chemical reaction with ferric oxide. Additionally, due to its solid sintering feature, it can prevent the infiltration of molten metals effectively and avoid sand sticking. It is applicable for the roughing sand and coatings for molds and cores of various stainless steel, alloy steel and carbon steel castings.
The Company is mainly engaged in the business of chromite sand produced in South Africa and machining of fine powder. Its physicochemical indexes (%) are as follows:

Common granularity: 40-70mesh, 50-100mesh, 70-100mesh, 70-140 mesh, 200mesh, 320mesh.
